During the summer of 2009 in Germany, Wolfgang Rothbauer and Gerald Huber had an idea to form a unique project with the coolest musicians they can catch for it. Both grew up with 90’s death metal music, and so the musical direction was quickly clear.
Zombie Inc. was born and the line up was completed with Martin Schirenc (vocals), Daniel Lechner (bass) and Tomasz” Nefastus” Janiszewski (drums). That’s right, a deathmetal band with members and ex members from Belphegor, Pungent Stench, Fleshcrawl and Lacrimas Profundere.
This record and band is a statement. To be the most brutal band out there. In my eyes, they did a pretty good job. The songs are brilliantly put together, for example when the drummer is having fun with blast beats, the guitars and bass take on a different approach and play muddy slow “almost doom” metal riffs.
But the thing I liked the most about this record is the use of certain samples before, during and at the end of certain songs. For example a chainsaw as an intro to a song. Not something original, but it gives that extra thing to the songs that already are brutal. Production wise everything is top notch considering the samples, the down tuned guitars/bass and the ow so low growls from Martin Schirenc. All and all a very good example of how death metal should be.

95/100
