Good Italian bands? If you can name five, you can call yourself a true metal fan, because this is a hard task. Why? The reason is quite obvious: they are incredibly rare. Fortunately, Rosae Crucis is different. Their latest release is entitled Fedeb Potere Vendetta and can be described as Epic True Heavy Metal. Well, if it's up to me, you can drop the 'true' in that description, because I don't think any band would like to be called a 'fake' metal band. Obvious right?
Rosaeb Crucis delivered quite a nice album. Despite their age (they were brought to life in 1990 already) they are rather unknown to the average metal fan. The reason for this is quite simple: the music they bring is not something new nor creative. Songs as The Fall of the False and Crusade are indeed well-mastered, they aren't anything we haven't heard before. The only technical remark can be found in the vocals, which tend to be poor from time to time, despite the acceptable pronunciation of English (which doesn't seem to be so easy for Italians). It's a shame though that the vocals are too 'doomed'. They just don't fit in with the music. This truly is a shame!
As a conclusion, I can say that, with Fede Potere Vendetta, Rosae Crucis created a good album, but it won't certainly mean a giant breakthrough for this band.

60/100
