Finding its original roots back in time around May 2008, Nik and Sauer recorded a first demo called "Fuck you all" under their previous band name “The Core”. Later on they founded a bass player in Cliff and a second guitarist and shouter in Deibl was found quickly. But to find a good voclist seemed to be a bit more difficult and took time until November 2008. Becky joined the band and the demo could be made complete. And then finally In August the band decided to change their band name to “My Inner Burning” and a first album soon followed.
Due to some success and positive feedback from fans and press, the band decided to start on a second album. In October/November 2010 the recordings for their second album called "Eleven scars" took place, which is by now all over Europe.
The album can best be described as early “Lacuna Coil “work. Female vocals switching periodically with male vocals, chugging guitars and a gothic tone dominating the rest. The only difference is that the male vocals on this record are more heavier and more towards the scream side. Apart from that slight difference in sound there actually isn’t really much that appeals to me about this album. From start till finish the music sounds dull and predictable. All well played but so very typical that I couldn’t even listen to it till the end and just started doing random tests.
