Since Udo Dirkschneider left Accept, it must have been somewhere in 1987, and formed his own band U.D.O. he’s released a new album almost every two years.  Over those last 20 ansd some years his music has had no drastical changes.  As a matter of fact what he does now what his own band seems to be the prolongation or continuation of what he did with Accept.
At 59 years of age, his voice still sounds as good as 30 years ago.  So if you liked Accept back in the eighties, and have followed Mr. Dirkschneider’s career a bit, you may blindly go out and buy this album.
The album is, like mostly with U.D.O. combinations of fast paced tracks, which sound like classical eighties metal, with a German flavour, but with a modern production, an some slower songs.  The final song on the album could almost be described as a power ballad.
The album was recorded, like previous U.D.O. albums, in Stefan Kaufmann’s Roxx studio’s between june 2010 and February 2011.  Mixing was done by Manfred Melchior.
