Germany brings forth another folk/medieval metal band called Spiegelkeller. This band plays rather simplified music at a constant pace, rhythm and very simple melodies and tunes. And only speak and write German, even their website is luckily totally in German so most of us can’t read it (yes I was being sarcastic). This record called “Zauber” is the debut album of the band.
The best thing about this album is the fact that these musicians know how to play together and actually excel at it. This is truly something what not many bands can. But that is the only positive thing I can come up with. Every songs and melody is so simplified that it becomes very predictable or very hard to keep track on what song you are listening to.
Overall it could be worse, but it also could be a lot better. Noting special, definitely not original and certainly not interesting.
51/100
