Terakai is a fairly young band (not only the band, but also the persons in it) from Reading, UK.  The band (that was assembled in 2009) brings forth a combination of metalcore and melodic trash metal. And although the band released their debut album/EP last year, it has taken them until now to cross the sea and reach this side of Europe to promote their record.
During that time the band has already shared the stage with such bands as Sylosis, The Arusha Accord, A Textbook Tragedy and Sepultura. Witch does gives me a lot of confidence in this young ones.
The band delivers what it promises, melodic trash/metal core that reminds me of bands like Enter Shikari, We Came As Romans, As I Lay Dying. To be honest I’m not really impressed with their skills and songwriting, but it  also doesn’t disappoints or bothers me. They bring good solid music with no fancy stuff involved and that works out for them, really well actually.

70/100
