Band: Dangerous! The United States may think that they're the biggest country when it comes to delivering powerful punk rock, Parkway Drive proved them wrong a few years ago as they put Australia on the top of Hardcore Punk music. Those guys have turned out to be real rock stars. Dangerous! proves that you don't need to be a surfer boy, nor a band who adds beatdowns to their music to put a country on the map of rather heavy music. Dangerous! is a really rough and dirty band, releasing all the filth of the Down Under on the sick society. Their debut album Teenage Rampage brings you very catchy rock 'n roll punk songs with a very rough edge to them. All songs are very fast, but for one track, called Poppies. In the beginning, it sets off quite slowly, at one point I even felt a Deftones vibe while listening, but after a few seconds, you can just feel that the guitars can't wait to be played fast and loud. The one constant thing about this album is that these guys definitely found their inspiration in the 'I-don't-give-a-fuck' band The Bronx. The difference between these two bands is that Dangerous! succeeded to add a catchy side to this album. If you ever consider listening to Teenage Rampage, which I highly recommend, beware ... it's Dangerous! 89/100 Nick Tronckoe. |
