Earth Crisis is an American metalcore band from New York. The band started out in 1989 but ended it’s life in 2001. The band was mostly known and loved for supporting animal rights, Vegan lifestyle, insinuating that being straight edge is cool and various social and political issues.

And that brings us to some good news. One of the most anticipated and talked about reunions of 2008 was without a doubt the reformation of Earth Crisis. The pioneers of the hardcore, the straight edge movement have now officially made the decision to carry on with the band fulltime and are proud to announce their comeback and with that comes a record and tour naturally.
Of course the record is already out for quite some time now, but still keeps people interested. But make no mistake about this record. Although good news about the reunion, this record doesn’t offer something new or groundbreaking. It’s their typical hardcore genre witch delivers their messages in a blunt old school way.

The thing that does bother me about this record is the fact that even with 10 songs on it, the record only seems to last 30 minutes. What is really short even for a reunion record  that kept fans waiting for ages to be released. Other than that, it’s their political/social hardcore witch made them famous and loved worldwide.

89/100
