Band : White Widdow It’s been less than a year since their first full album came out, yet here again is White Widow with a brand new album. Basically they continue in the same vein as their previous album, which is eighties style rock like Survivor, Nightranger to name but a few. Now I already liked their first album, albeit it had it’s little faults, and just like their debut album I also like this one, even if it hardly differs from their previous one. So what you get from White Widow are well played melodic rock songs, with just the right amount of keyboards, nice guitars, and very good vocals with lots of harmonies. Had these been the eighties, they could have filled entire stadiums. And although Jules Millis voice is not that powerful, he seems to be the right man in the right place. Releasing this kind of albums cannot be called treading on unthreaded paths, but what you get is quality music. 92/100 Erik Morren. |
