What can be said about this New York Hardcore Punk band that has not yet been said? I mean, there's an extensive Wikipedia page if you're interested in this extremely influential act's history...and I made kind of a synopsis of that up until the point of the release of their previous album Warrior (review posted 01/12/2007). Since then Bridge Nine Recordsissued the first authorized vinyl re-release of the band's debut EP United Blood to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the band's 1984 full-length album Victim in Pain...which was equally re-issued later on.

The new album (13 tracks for a total of a little more than 34 extremely enjoyable minutes) was recorded at Tampa, Florida based Mana Recording Studio with renowned producer Erik Rutan (whom you might know from his work with the likes of Madball, Goatwhore, Cannibal Corpse, and then some...) and AF's usual producer Freddy Cricien (of Madball& Hazen Street, and in fact AF singer Roger Miret's younger brother) “looking over his shoulder”. If you've known AFfrom before, you know what to expect, and depending on how you look on the band's music, that is either “a simple continuation of what was before”, or “a strong confirmation of the band's usual high quality”. It's weird, but as with the previous album, I got this new one in my hands only a month àfter its release. So, I have no idea in which way the band has already backed the album promotionwize on the stage. I dó know however, that the veterans of NY Hardcore Punk will be in Europe starting June 24, with gigs so far confirmed in Germany (quite a lot, as usual), Italy, Austria, and Greece, quite a few of which are at festivals too!

My Life My Waytranslates to Spanish as Mi Vida Mi Manera, and it's the official video to the track “A Mi Manera” which you can view at either the band's own website (www.) agnosticfront.com or at (www.) myspace.com/agnosticfront, where you can also find a sound file for the album's track “That's Life”, and several tracks off previous releases. Better then to remain on the band's own website, as in the media section you can find a shitload of videos! Well, if you were into the band before, you know you can buy the new album without thinking twice. If you're just getting into Hardcore, or would like to get acquainted with one of the more respected bands in the genre, you now know where to do that.

95/100
