Australian band Assaulter is back with it’s second album. The band started out in 2008 but today the line up is made of S. Berserker, Razor of Occam drummer Peter Hunt and new lead guitarist T. Hellfinder. But back in the early days of their debut album, the band was so successful that they got singed with Metal Blade Records very fast.
The band once again brings forth a well performed and balance between death and trash metal and can easily be compared to bands like “Sodom” or “Kreator”. Although Assaulter has lots of similarities with those bands like style and sound, it still sound different and original.
Due to the fact that it’s well balanced (in sound and genre) it becomes a good “welcome “band to people new to the genre, not to brutal to start with. However I am concerned about it, it is good solid metal, but it does lack something to make it stand out among others in this age with so much choices and everyone has a band that sounds like this.

75/100
