CD REVIEW Dangerous!

Band: Dangerous!
Album title: Teenage Rampage
Label: Epitaph
Distributor: PIAS
Release date: 05/09/2011
Release: CD

As The Ghost Of A Thousand decided to call it quits, I guess the Epitaph label was in need of a new aggressive punk rock band. Therefore, they present you the first release of Australia's hottest up-and-coming Dangerous!
Their album, Teenage Rampage, kicks off with a massive punk rock song, called Not One Of You, which also is their very first single. The first band I actually have to think off is The Ghost Of A Thousand, but also The Hives come to mind. The second song already proves that they can be original as well. By adding synthesizers to Movers N Shakers, Slo Mo Video and some other tracks, they distinguish themselves from being just another band that believes to be able to play a guitar.
After a while though, the entire thing starts to bore and you get a bit sick and tired of the aggression. You can't real catch a breath while listening to this album, which makes it quite hard to endure an entire listening.
Altogether, Teenage Rampage convinced me that Epitaph still knows where the good music can be found ... and that's clearly not only in the USA.

74/100
