Contrary to their previous six  releases, this Bai Bang album is nowhere a glam/sleaze/hair metal album.  This album is much more melodical and harmonious, at times I even get hints of Enuff Z’Enuff at the time of one of their best albums, ‘Animals With Human Intelligence’.  Another band they could be compared to is Wig Wam.

I’ve read other reviews though, stating that this band has not evolved in their 25 years existence, that they still play the same music over and over.  This, I think, is not completely true.  What makes this albums so easily digestible is that each and every song sticks to your ears, and almost makes you sing along.  There are not that many albums which have had the same effect on me, one of them being for instance Def Leppard’s ‘Pyromania’ album, and that’s an album that’s almost 3 decades old.
The production is crystal clear, the songs are great, and even if there are some slight sleaze influences discernable, this tends more towards AOR or hard rock from the 80ies, with a modern edge to it.

To sum it up: a fantastic album, one to play when you’re in a foul mood to help you cheer up.
