According to information this style of music is ‘True Power Metal’.  And power it emanates indeed.  The band was founded in 2008 out of the debris of Belgian metal band Double Diamond and other bands.

This music is excellent for headbanging, so you know what you’re in for if you buy this album.  They haven’t re-invented the genre, but the songs are of a good, steadfast quality.  If you’ve been around in the eighties and were aware of the emerging metal scene Belgium had in those days, you will be pleasantly surprised by this band.  It shows that the band members already had a lot of experience, and equally production can in no ways be compared to the production some bands had back in the eighties (you only  have to think of Acid on their first single…).

Although it’s not really my cup of tea (a tad too heavy perhaps, for someone who’s more accustomed to listening to AOR or Hard Rock), I did find it a good album.
I also want to mention the artwork on the cover by Eric Philippe, known for his work with Rhapsody, Riot and others.
Nice work for a debut lads, keep up the good work, and surprise us with more.

85/100
