Diabolos Dust is a German band that’s about to release their second album called “Ruins Of Mankind”. Their concept is simple, melodic Thrash Metal in which the speed and lots of variety while keeping modern touch, except for the very last track, which is just a pure old school Heavy Metal song.
This new record will hit the streets around this time. The things that truly bothers me is mostly due to their sound. Instrumentally these are truly masters, but their sound can be compared to albums of 30 years ago. Accidentally or on purpose? Who knows, but either way it really doesn’t work for them. Secondly, is the lack of emotions in the vocals.
Like I said these guys are truly masters in making metal and have definitely some kick ass riffs and licks, but the vocals bring the whole down just not making it an epic song to witch you want to sing/scream along to.
Definitely for fans of bands like Annihilator, Megadeth, Pantera, Metallica, Nevermore, Angel Dust and Brainstorm, to witch you can compare their style to.
