This is the second release for this Greco-American alliance, since their 2009 debut album simply called ‘Outloud’.  And a very good album it has become.

The sound of the album is essentially melodic hard rock, but with a very 80’ies vibe to it.  As a matter of fact I get hints form different bands listening to Outloud, among them Danger Danger, but also older bands that had a short period of fame in the eighties, like The Cutting Crew.  Even Iron Maiden gets in the picture, you just have to listen to the beginning of track N) 7, doesn’t it sound very familiar
“Waiting for Your Love’, the video-single would have made it to the charts if it had been released in the eighties.  These days it will be much harder, but at least in melodic rock circles this might still become a big hit so to speak of.

Vocals were once again handled by Chandler Mogel (ex Talon), a singer that is becoming a rising star within the genre. Recording was done by Bob Katsionis, who also plays lead guitars and keyboards, and mixing was done by Tommy Hansen.
There’s one song on the album that might sound a bit strange the first time you play it, and that’s track n° 8 ‘Isolation Game’ where the vocals remind me of a Cher song from a while ago, where Cher  used the same effect.

90 /100
