Until Rain is a band hailing from Thessaloniki in Greece. This is their second full album, having previously released ‘Reign Of Dreams’, their debut album in 2009, and an EP ‘Pandemic’ in 2011.
This album is just awesome. It’s melodic progressive power metal with some Mediterranean sounds mixed in between, performed in a very professional way. The English lyrics are brought without any accent at all. The songs are rather complex, with fantastic keyboard parts. But the star of the show must be the vocalist, Yannis Papadopoulos who sings the stars from the sky. The other musicians are also very well versed in their trade of course. With eleven songs, the album clocks of at around 78 minutes, that keep your attention from start to finish. An absolute must have for all fans of progressive metal.
