This live performance is displaying a tight High on Fire in the year 2012 at the Bowery Ballroom and Music Hall of Williamsburg in New York.. We get 15 tracks in your face without any long breaks or long stories told to the audience. That the choice of songs itself is almost impeccable almost goes without mentioning, all the classics are here and the very raw sound quality brings the best out of old classics like “Frost Hammer”, “Blood from Zion”,“Rumors of war”, “Snakes for the divine” and “10 000 years”,  the newer sledgehammers “Serums of Liao”,  “Fertile green” and “Madness of an architect”,  these titles alone should be proof for the excellent choice of songs already.

Overall a stunning performance from High On Fire. This recording is from only two shows, so what you hear is what you get. I like the intensity, because everything has to be nailed on two nights. The sound on the album is excellent. It is well produced maintaining the raw live sound.

Strong material and a flawless live performance make this album a must have for High On Fire fans.
