Entrench

Swedish outfit Entrench finally return to our dimension (though apparently, but I’ve seen missed them, there were some split-EP’s too, with the likes of Bombs Of Hades or Insane), but this time as a duo, since their drummer died a year and a half ago. I’m glad they did not decide to quit, yet rather to continue in order to pay tribute to their deceased brother-in-arms.

Entrench

Swedish Thrash band Entrench was formed somewhere in late 2005 by Fredrik Pellbrink(Guitar, Vocals), Hannes Lindkvist(Guitar) and Victor Holmström(Drums). After two unreleased demos in 2006 the line up was only to be complete after Joel Sundin joined as the bass player.

Postmortem

Postmortem is a German death metal band from Berlin and was founded in 1991. After numerous live appearances and two demos, the band signed its first record deal with Husky Records. Screams Of Blackness (debut album) was recorded and sold out rather fast. It was re-released in 1998.

Unlight

Germany’s impressive Extreme Metal label War Anthem Records and Baden-Württemberg-based Black Metal act Unlight recently joined forces in order to have this band’s sixth album released. It took quite some time, because the last album they did (Sulphurblooded, reviewed by colleague Tim; see update September 14th 2010) dates from 2010. However, it does not imply a drastic change of style.

Rogash

Honestly, I did not know German band Rogash yet. Apparently, they did record a demo in 2010 (entitled Rogan Era) and that’s it, so I do not need to feel guilty. But apparently they are quite promising, for Dan Swanö was so kind to do the final mix and mastering for Rogash’s debut full length Supremacy Undone. This gets translated, of course, by means of the monumental sound of this debut full length record.
