To celebrate their 30 years of existence, Great White recorded a live album in the Keys Club in Los Angeles.  From the album you can’t tell If they set the house on fire, a feat the fake White managed to do in 2003, although they had to use pyrotechnics…..

As a matter of fact I’ve always found Great White was a bit of an underestimated band in Europe, and I cannot understand why this is the case, because if you like bluesy hard rock then this is one of the best bands around.  And if you ask me the replacement they found for their original singer Jack Russell in the person of Terry Ilous has in no ways altered the band’s sound.

When I listened to this album my meaning was that the band was in great form, but the enthusiasm from the public was missing a bit.  Also the production could have been a bit better, I found the sound quality rather poor.

It was great hearing all those fantastic songs from Great White once more, but this album is not an essential.
