Ok, this is a bit more unusual compared to metal albums but lets give it a try shall we. As the title implies, we got a 3 DVD box containing various rivalries in the history of wrestling. And to be honest I do love a good fight (who doesn’t?), but it has been over 10 years since I actually watched a wrestling match or even played a video game in that genre. So I have no idea who or what’s hot and what not in that particular scene. So I asked a good friend of mine who is, just to be a bit more objective.

So basically, there is the countdown of the set presented to you by Renee Young witch is definitely the highlight of the set. The rivalries are logical and make a lot of sense compared to the other rivalries. Classic rivalries like Stone Cold Steve AustinThe Rock, Hulk HoganRandy Savage, Dusty RhodesRick Flair or Tommy Dreamer (although some other classics could have been implemented, but that’s a matter of personal taste). Anyway, each rivalry gets a discussion around 6 to 7 minutes witch is more than enough for people who aren’t into this kind of sport.

The weirdest part about it that commentator Renee Young tries to compare the wrestlers to chemical elements but then always go over the top with his explanations and that does take away part of the experience. I know, you want to see some fighting, not a lesson in chemistry. So overall we got a nice box here that’s worth its money, but will feel not completed (for the more experienced watcher) due to the lack of other brutal rivalries.
