We Are the Damned

Three years ago, the then recent addition to the ConcreteWeb family, Jeroen, reviewed this Portuguese band's third full-length album Holy Beast, not caring much for the offering...in fact, he kinda dragged it through the mud some! I'm afraid he didn't quite understand where the band comes from, and what their intentions were, or he might at least have understood what he'd been listening to, and not just slag the band down because of personal musical tastes.

GWLT - II

Having listened to the mixed result of the material for their Ohne Anfang ohne Ende debut EP (review posted...this very same day!), the members of this München based German project have been hyped like...well, like what, actually? Let's just put it as such, that the guys decided there and then that they should do some more songs together, in fact, continue to record a trilogy of EP's and, in fact, get onto the stages as an actual band!

GWLT - I

This München based Teuton Hardcore project was founded in June of last year, when singer David Mangoya (of Roger Rekless), drummer Fabian FabiFüss (formerly of Emil Bulls), and guitarists Florian FloGudzent (of The New Recruits) and Chris Zehetleitner (ex-the Blackout Argument) joined up with bassist Michael MichiKokus, and started

Zero Mentality

Darn...I could've sworn I'd come across this Hagen (Ruhrstadt) based German Metallic Hardcore band before, but I was mistaken...probably came across 'em while updating the tour dates section of the website, I guess!

Rage Of South

Rage Of South is a Sicilian thrash/crossover/Nu/metal band witch saw light at the beginning of 2006. The band was formed by: Tano (vox/ guitar), Leo (guitar/chorus), Salas (drum), Smoke (bass/ chorus).

Almost Failed

Almost Failed, a hardcore band from Austria, released their third EP “1155”. With four tracks and a playtime of eleven minutes it is short, too short actually, especially because as a listener you only really get into the rhythm of the EP by the last song. The tracks mostly consist out of heavy riffs with down tempo breaks and a melancholic touch.

The EP is rather dark, the lyrics are not very innovative and it hardly stands out from the crowd but if you like bands such as Gallows, you will appreciate these guys as well.
