A band with Carl Johan Grimmark on guitars – known from his work with Narnia, but also from many guest appearances on albums by other bands like Rob Rock, Divine Fire and others, is sure to draw my attention.  While at the start of this band, vocals were handled by German Pascual, who also sang with Narnia in 2009, this latter was replaced during the recordings of this album by Richard Hulteke.

The band was originally founded by Tobias Enbert and German Pascual.  That CJ Grimmark ispart of the band clearly shows as the Narnia influence is presentThe album brings us something that could be described as a mix between hard rock and heavy metal, with one song tending more towards the hard rock side, the other more towards the metal side. What must be accentuated though, are the astonishing vocals by Richard Hulteke. Some people might think I’m crazy, but to me he sounds a bit like Jeff Scot Soto did in the Yngwie Malmsteen years.  Add to this the exceptional guitar work by CJ Grimmark, and you’ve got yet another great Swedish band.
