Although formed only in early 2012, this Reading (England, UK) based Melodic Metalcore act (not to be confused with the Pop/ Punk band from Canada, or the Reggae act known as Hogh Hopes Band from New England, USA) consisting of singer Nick Brooks, guitarists Nathan Pryor and Krishan Pujura, bassist Shaun Flanagan and drummer Daryl Pryor have reasons to be proud of the things they already achieved!

Having signed to Italian label This Is Core earlier this year not only allowed the band to re-issue its self-titled debut EP in August of last (to generally raving reviews from media both in the UK and Europe), but also to recording their debut full-length in April of last with none less that legendary producer Russ Russell (check your Napalm Death, Evile, Sikth, and Wildhearts albums, amongst others). Besides having organized a European tour on their own (in earliest 2013), the band also managed to secure support shows for important bands such as Palm Reader, Giants, Oh Sleeper, and (most recently) Your Demise (an event the band celebrated by handing out free copies of their EP!).

With the aid of their producer, the Reading fivesome managed to put down a very mature sound, in which influences from the likes of The Ghost Inside, Parkway Drive and Killswitch Engage were mangled and molded into something quite completely their own. In the “Media” section of band's own site (www.) ihavehighhopes.com, ou will only find music clips for the track “Eyes Behold” (the band's debut single, taken off the EP) and a video with footage of the making of it, but in the “Music and Videos” section at the band's facebook page (www.) facebook.com/ihavehighhopesofficial, you'll not only find audio for two further EP tracks, but also of the album's “The Balance”. Together, they should form sufficient confirmation to the hardened Metalcore/ Hardcore fans, of the statement that what we're dealing with here is highly qualitative act, more than worthy of being checked out...even of having albums of in one's own collection, see?

To promote the coming of their album, the band already did a short UK tour in early November. I have no idea what's on their itinerary next, so check out their site on a regular basis for further live dates, if your modus operandi for making your decent acquaintance with a band is as such!
