Inside The Hole is a band hailing form Montemaggiore Belsito, a small town located in the hinterland of Palermo in Sicily.  Being only a trio sadly means their sound is a bit on the thin side if you ask me. Being formed in 2009, they released their first album ‘Beer ! Sex ! … And Fuckin’Roll’ in 2011, so this is their second opus.  It is a blues/hard rock orientated album.  The guitar work is fine, but the vocals need some improvement.  Besides that I find the album a bit messy, by which I mostly mean that, next to the somewhat ‘thin’ sound, the sound is a bit muffled, maybe a better production could improve that.

My judgement: there are some good songs, like ‘I pay for you’, but on the whole this band needs a lot of improvement if they want to make a lasting impression on me.
