Snailking

2014 will go down history as the year that Sludge got into the next level of mainstream acceptance.

Face it, never have Sludge bands been so present at the live scene across the world as in 2014 or at least it was never so noticeable. Snailking are yet again one of these bands who grab you by the balls from the moment that opener “To Wonder“ comes thundering out of my living room speakers..   down-tuned guitars, pounding drums, lower than low bass “vibrations”, and  vocals (by guitarist Pontius Ottoson) sounding so desperate that you want to call 911 to ask for  immediate assistance .   It being “Premonitions”, “Slitherings”, “ Requiem” or “Void” ,  Snailking has just  raised the standard for Sludge to a new high…
