Conan a stoner/doom metal group, founded in Liverpool, UK in the year 2006. They can permit everything like the openings sentence of their bio on the site: “Conan are as heavy as interplanetary thunder amplified through the roaring black hole anus of Azathoth”. Yes you can expect everything. Members are: Phil Coumbe (Bass, Vocals), Paul O'Neill (Drums) and Jon Davis (Guitars, Vocals).

Blood Eagles” a six counting album with stoner metal, great slow, raw metal. If I can count their eigth album, not bad in eight year one a year. Album starts with a “Crown Of Talons” Recorded at the Skyhammer studios build by guitaris/vocalist Jon Davis and already host to a swatch of UK acts. Enough speaking about the history now the album content. Opener “Crown Of Talons” a 10 minutes long piece to set the grim and the sphere of this album. Coumbe takes the lead song of the first to tracks. Conan is trying to do something new without breaking their main core. And then my favorite “Gravity Chasm” again a long song now counting 8 minutes. Great shuffling riffs this indicating that the separation between methodologies has at least begun to give. You lust buy this record but first go the see live, you won’t regret it even your eardrums are gone!
