Remember the gore ol’ times?...

This is such a band that defines the initial core of Relapse’s roster. Devourment, the one from Dallas, Texas, are known for their mostly uncompromising, mercilessly blasting Grind-edged Death assaults. They do it with conviction, with brutal power, with great craftsmanship. Yeah, oops, they did it again!

The muscled full length (thirty three minutes of length) has nothing original to offer, but why should it? This is the kind of brain-tormenting shit that sadistically pleases one’s eardrums, the kind of stuff that makes your grandma wetting her oversized pants (whether it is because of fear and disgust, then again by musick-caused horniness, that’s a question I do not want to philosophise about right now). Not the best thing in its genre, yet Conceived In Sewage will be appreciated by fans of everything in the vein of Dying Fetus, Decrepit Birth, Origin, Cannibal Corpse or Cattle Decapitation.
