Morning Dwell is a young power Metal band from Sweden.  As a matter of fact this started as a one man project by Petter Hjerpe who started writng some music, and was later on joined by some friends. I 2003 he came for the first time with the name Morning Dwell for a project, as a matter of fact  a demo that contained five songs. In 2013 he re-recorded some of his ten year old songs, added some new ones, and made a new demo. He not only wrote the music, but also did the vocals and every instrument himself.  He sent this demo to Christian Liljegren, who was very interested and gave him a contract.  But how can you form a ‘band’, and record a full album, when you’ve got no band…  But these problems got finally solved.

What you can immediately hear is that he was influenced by bands like Helloween era if the ‘Keeper Of The Seven Keys part 2’.  As far as I’m concerned, I have no remarks about the musical part of this album, but the vocals could have been better.  I find Petter’s voice a bit on the thin side, sounding rather nasal sometimes.  So I’d advice him to stick to writing, and find another vocalist for the next album.
