This Steve Foglia’s second solo album, after the 2011 release ‘Revenge’  On his first album he had songs done with Adam Bomb and Mike Vescera, and for this album he has none other than Blaze Bailey doing one song.

While  it is not a bad album, Mister Foglia might know how to drum, but the’vocalist he’s used on this album, Johnny Idol,is not the best there is, and that shows on this album.  The music itself has a rather classical feeling to it, with reminders to lots of other bands, ranging from Marillion, to Santana, and lots of other bands. While not being a top notch album, I found it very refreshing to listen to, with lots of different styles.

It takes some getting used to sometimes, and with a better vocalist it would have even been better.  Sadly enough with the constant stream of new material that’s been released, not to forget the constant stream of re-releases and releases of previously unreleased older stuff, I’m a bit afraid this album might stay unnoticed. Which is a shame really, because after a few spins the songs linger in your head.
