Sweet Apple

Sweet Apple is band of rockers from groups you've mostly heard before if you listen to music besides metal. Their new album “The Golden Age Of Glitter”, a 10-song power-pop featuring J Mascis (Dinosaur Jr., Heavy Blanket), Tim Parnin (Cobra Verde), John Petkovic (Cobra Verde, Death Of Samantha, Guided By Voices) and Dave Sweetapple (Witch, Vardlokk). So yeah basically this is a pretty neat line up, although they like to keep a low profile.

The record can best be described as “happy hippy pop rock”. And if you aren’t to judgmental about it not being metal or hard rock, you can find a couple of catchy tunes. But I do have to mention that they all sound very familiar and similar to each other.
