Gehennah

Originally released as a four song seven inch by Lightning Records in March of 2014, Gehennah's Metal Police saw a bulked up reissue by Metal Blade Records in Feb of 2015, which is the band's first release for the label. In addition to the original four tracks on the seven inch, the newly issued Metal Police features eight bonus tracks, which mostly consist of re-recorded tracks from the band's earlier full length albums, King of the sidewalk and Decibel Rebel, along with two unreleased songs.

Ensiferum

I first saw Ensiferum when they did a support gig for Children Of Bodom on 12th May 2011 in Luxembourg's Rockhal and I was enthralled right from the start. Never before had I seen a support act,  that was so full of infectious energy. They blew me away as soon as they played their first notes. In the end I liked Ensiferum 1.000 times more than the actual headliner of that evening. After that show I immediately got their whole discography.

Vesania

I don’t feel like writing an extended introduction to Polish act Vesania, because there is no way to express my appreciation for their sonic assaults anyway. Let’s say that their debut, 2003’s Firefrost Arcanum, was one of the most impressive debuts I’ve ever experienced, and it surely was one of the best albums that very same year (let’s call it end year’s list top-5 material, if you want to). Afterwards they continued impressing me, time after time, with each single album they recorded. Okay, these guys are enormously experienced (cf.

Cannibal Corpse

In Solitude

The music is rooted in classic 80s metal, but with a punk wave twist that makes In Solitude sound fresh. A big strength concerning this album is the actual performances; you can just feel the energy and pure will that lies behind the band members' delivery of the music, expressive and rock solid on every front. “He comes” opens the disc and lays the groundwork for the melancholic atmosphere that runs through the album. Most of the songs are very catchy and there is not one bad song among them.

Eldkraft

First impressions of Eldkraft will leave many metal heads bewildered and confused as they try to decide whether to stick with, this the band’s first album Shaman. Not because it’s a barrage of noise but because this isn’t exactly your run of the mill metal.

Memory Garden

As the name of this Swedish band implies, Memory Garden are more than a little familiar with Trouble. Memory Garden was found in 1992 in Sweden and have since then released four albums, two of them under the flag of Metal Blade Records Doomain is the fifth album by Swedish doom/heavy metal band Memory Garden.

Troubled Horse

Troubled Horse are located in Orebro, Sweden, a city that brings us other Heavy Rock acts like Graveyard or Witchcraft. As a matter of fact, throughout their existence, and still at this very same moment, Troubled Horse do / did feature some (former) Witchcraft-members. But the musical approach of both bands differs in a couple of aspects.
