Screamer

Starting out somewhere on 2009, they had the intention of delivering the best heavy metal they could. And so Screamer grew into one of the hardest touring demo bands in Sweden (or so they say). However, they did release a demo after only 2 months and a truck loads of shows following after that release.

In total they performed well over a 100 shows in Sweden or the rest of Europe in witch they had their first headline tour last year. And their debut album should have gotten nominated for album of the year according to critics.

Album

Album is a new band from Ohio. They formed somewhere in 2007 and have already released a self-titled album through a small label called Nice Life (from Columbus, Ohio). Album is a family band as drummer Josh Hopkins plays with Jason his brother and Winfield, who only lived three minutes away, was a friend of them.

The band began playing shows about a month into the band forming. When they were asked to play our first show they didn't even have a name yet and they just went with Album.

Züül

I recently got a record of the band named Züül, A band with little info to be found about. so for those who missed it, Züül is  an American metal band from Illinois. These guys play a mix of heavy metal with hard rock with here and there some pro elements. The sound of this band reminds me of "The Sword".

Bunker 66

Bunker 66 hail from Messina, an historical city on Sicily, Italy. The band debuted in 2009 with the grandiose EP Out Of The Bunker, originally self-released in a limited edition, and re-released later on both CD and vinyl. Infernö Interceptörs is the second studio release (there was a live-EP in mean time, which was brought out as part of FenrizBand Of The Week vinyl series) and this eight-tracker is an enormous step forward in comparison to the former record.

Züül

Züül is not only an American metal band from Illinois. It's also the band you can find the least information about. If seen bad websites/ Facebook pages/ Myspace profiles but these guys rase that bar 5 inches more.

Blaze

These days NWOBHM is alive and kicking in their homeland Japan. Blaze, from Osak, formed in 1998 tries to ring everything the original movement stand for. Fast guitarwork, simple drumbeats, …

This album came out in their own country a few years ago but back in the days the band didn’t had a label to promote them over here in Europe. Now the band and High Roller Records found each other. And we’re glad for that.

Hellbringer

(why still writing a review on a release that came out more than four months ago? First of all, because we did receive this material very recently, and secondly because this stuff is much too tasty not to take a bite…)

Australian three-piece Hellbringer was formed in 2007 as Forgery. To avoid confusion, and law issues, with Norway’s Forgery, the band decided to change its moniker into the current one in 2010.

Black Burn

Actually this material was compiled and released a while ago, and more than this: this material was written more than thirty years ago (and initially recorded in 1985).

Black Burn is a (Cult) act from Berlin, Germany, that was formed during the very early eighties by Jörg Franke, who was active in legendary bands like Skylla or Calderone (amongst others).

Steel Assassin

“World War II-Metal Of Honor” is the name of Steel Assasin’s brand new studio album. As you might have already guessed, it’s a concept album. Their guitarist Kevin put a lot of effort into researching the concept. World War II is such a vast topic, it’s no wonder Steel Assassin had to find their own approach to the subject.

Witchgrave

Witchgrave form Sweden are a new phenomenon like we had Ghost and now these days Uncle Acid and The Deadbeats.  The play N.W.O.B.H.M. just like it came straight from the old days of glory. Their mini-album “The Devils Night’ sold out very quickly. In those days Witchgrave excisted only out of two people. Since then they have ground into a proper four-piece band.
