Grand Magus

Grand Magus from Sweden have been around for quite a bunch of albums now, to be exact, Triumph and Power is their sixth outing. There's been a few albums that have been hailed as the bridge between Manowar and Priest, and I would say that their latest is another good attempt to do just that. So although the band's sound has its roots in heavy metal from the late 70s/early 80s, Grand Magus is an updated, modern and entirely crushing groove experience. The production by Nico Elgstrand

The Exploited - Beat The Bastards

The Exploited” a Scottish punk band founded by Wattie Buchan in 1980. This is the seventh of the eight Studio albums they made In 1996 “Beat The Bastards”. I love the cover of this album a nice picture. This album made a change in their music. More musicianship, more professional and dedicated text. A well chosen turn to professional music makers. In some numbers is the boundary between metal and punk very thin, like “System Fucked Up”. Great guitar riffs and a great solo. The good old punk, a part of my own youth.
