Exterminio

The Argentinian band Exterminio was rather ‘popular’ in their home country during the nineties, with inclusion of some well-acclaimed demo tapes. At the end of last century they did split up, but in 2006 they reformed. In 2007 Exterminio released their debut full length, Homicide In First Degree (via Hurling Metal Records), and in 2012 the second one, Inhuman Atrocities, via Icarus Music.

Horrific Disease

Yesterday we did (finally) update the review for the six-way split 6 Ways Of Hell, which was a collaboration done by Russia’s top-label Satanath Records at the one hand, and six bands / projects from the East of Asia at the other: Barzakh (Indonesia), Goresluts (Malaysia), Savage Deity (Thailand), Shadowmirth (Brunei), Suicidal (Singapore), and last but not least, Japanese duo Horrific Disease (Makoto Mizoguchi and Haruhisa Takahat

Corpsegarden

I have no idea what’s going on in Costa Rica, but lately we are almost (read: ‘almost’, with some relativation) overcrowded by bands and projects from out there – some of the better things I recently ‘met’, and which I did a review for recently / which I will do a review for very soon: Alastor Sanguinary Embryo, Insepulto, Paganus Doctrina, Ancient Spheres, Inhuman, …

Macabre Demise

It took quite some time, because the last Macabre Demise-album, Stench Of Death, was released in 2011. But now the German grind-head behind this project, Andreas Rieger, returns with another extreme effort, Homicidal Parasites, which has a total running time of twenty six minutes. The stuff was recorded by the sole member, Andreas (vocals, strings and drum computer programming), and believe it or not, but mix and mastering were done in Venezuela (Abhorrent Technology Productions).

My Darkest Fury

After some years of relative silence, Vologda, Russia-based band My Darkest Fury return with their second full length album, which was recorded in 2010 and 2011, produced by band vocalist / lyricist Artem and I. Sobolev; mix and mastering were done in between 2012 and 2014 at the Portal Records Studio in My darkest Fury’s home town. Hectic Existence clocks half an hour, and that’s a pity for the quality begs for more; at least if you’re a fan of this kind of un-beauty.

Sacred Sin

Sacred Sin were / are one of the most ‘popular’ bands from Portugal, though their popularity has never reached the level of, let’s say, a band like Moonspell. That’s undeserved and a pity. They were formed in 1991 and debuted in 1992 with the EP The Shades Behind. One year later, Sacred Sin released their full length debut Darkside via Portuguese label Musica Alternativa, followed by several other albums and some compilations.

Dargonomel

Dargonomel are currently a two-piece from Russia (original members Shaks on guitars, and bass player / vocalist Var), formed in 2006 under the moniker of Subterra de Mort. After the release of the Ultimatum-album, the band ceased its activities in 2010, but they reformed in 2011, first as Sakkath, and very soon after under the name of Dargonomel.

Borow

Borow are a Russian act that was formed in 2007. Throughout the years, they recorded several pieces of gore and death, amongst which two self-released full lengths (in respectively 2008 and 2009). And in 2013 they worked on the third full length, which is called The Pnakotic Manuscript.
