Bayside is an American punk/rock band from Queens NY formed somewhere in the winter of 2000. Current members are Anthony Raneri (Vocals, Guitar), Jack O’Shea (Lead Guitar), Nick Ghanbarian (Bass) and Chris Guglielmo (Drums).

After four full albums and 10 years, their fifth album “Cult” with some rock and punk influences, just call it newer school punk rock. If you are familiar with Bayside and a fan of their albums, it doesn’t mean you’ll be like “Cult”, because this album sounds like an extraction of their previous albums. Overall the detail lies in the great guitar skill with some nice solos like in “Big Cheese” and “Hate Me”. One song to point is “Objective On Fire” with some indie / alt rock inspired guitars. All by all not a bad album but not his best maybe a little too commercial sound.
