Devil You Know is the intersection of three undeniable talents from the world of heavy music. Howard Jones (Killswitch Engage, Blood Has Been Shed), Francesco Artusato (The Francesco Artusato Project, All Shall Perish), and John Sankey (Devolved, Fear Factory and Divine Heresy). The sum total of the three has come together under the banner of “Devil You Know”.
And I must say that this debut album of this “supergroup” (witch is a new trend these days) is a nice fresh surprise. Most albums turn out in something a bit (or even a lot) different then the music we know these people from. But I must say that the songs on this group could easily be from the Killswitch engage or All Shall Perish repertoire.
In the end this is an awesome collaboration with a perfect mix of heavy, melodic and even sing a long pieces that made me a fan of this record.
