Devil You Know is a metalcore supergroup formed in Los Angeles in 2012. Current members are: Howard Jones – vocals, Francesco Artusato – guitar, John Sankey – drums, Roy Lev-Ari – guitar and Ryan Wombacher – bass.
“The Beauty Of Destruction” their debut studio album. Starting with a strong opener “A New Beginning”. With some great guitar work and a straight drum rhythm, great to hear. But there are some elements of the Jones-era Killswitch on the album but also some influence of the other members. “My Own”,”Emabrasing The Torture” and “For The Dead And Broken” with some clean sung choruses but they have still an amount of heavy in them. Combining these two thing is very cool and shows there other side. “I Am The Nothing” a song that takes my attention very interesting with some big guitar riffs and a cathy chorus. And then my favorite a song that explode and comes down hard throughout with a low-end and a Gojira style slide. I believe in the band with a debut like this, you lust buy this record!
