Netherstorm

The foundation of this Dutch Melodic Death Metal act goes back to the year 2001, when lead guitarist/ singer Mike Oude Geerdink and drummer Bob Stolk started jammin' together on an haunted attic of an old building of their hometown Ede, in the North of Holland.

Mind Structure

Very little info is available about this Ukrainian Melodic Metal act, due in part because they still have their own website (www.) mindstructure.net under construction, and in part because I still cannot log onto MySpace with the network PC I use to retrieve info off the Internet.

Deathcrush

Not to be confused with the two other bands by the same name [both still in existence, one from Brazil (play Black Metal since 2006 and have thus far only released a demo that same year) and one from Mexico (a Death/ Black Metal outfir in existence since 2002 which as thus far delivered a 2004 single and a 2005 full-length)] this Bessude (Sardinia) based Italian Brutal Black/ Death Metal act was founded way back in January 2003 by the trio of lead singer/ bassist Luigi Cara, guitarist Andrea Sechi, and drummer Giampiero Serra...whom added a

Circle Of Rage

Circle Of Rage are a five-headed band (vocalist Tommo, bass player Lee, guitarists Veitch and Scott, and drummer Xander) from the United Queendom. They recorded Rage In D-Minor with Oz Craggs at the Kent-based Hidden Track Studio. The initial release date was foreseen in 2012, but due to circumstances unknown (and who cares anyway?), it has been delayed, postponed, until now.

Various: Metal For Jezus

Hallelujah, the Pope is a fan!!

Metal for Jesus is a compilation cd with 17 tracks divided among five groups:

Narnia, Audiovision, Divinefire, Golden Resurrection and Modest Attraction.

The album genre is mostly power metal, and allways with religious texts (quite obvious when the album name is Metal For Jezus).

Soil

Formed in 1997, Chicago based Rock band Soil rose and took over that particular scene. After their first independent release, the band was the first rock group signed by the legendary Clive Davis to J Records. The band achieved mainstream success with their major label debut "Scars" in 2001. The band did have some trouble with their line up until reuniting with their original vocalist Ryan McCombs in October 2011.

Orchis

Our dearest Concreteweb’s headquarters did recently receive a cd-r / mp3 with seven Folk-oriented albums. As a matter of fact, Strawberry Oracle Promotions will give some renewed attention to seven bands / projects within the Folk scene by having this material put on the foreground again. It deals with both recent as well as pretty old recordings, and in order to give this stuff a boost, I will be so kind to have it reviewed.
