Bliss Of Flesh

Four years after Emaciated Deity, French horde Bliss Of Flesh, with former Deviant Surgeon- and Fist 69-members, return with Beati Pauperes Spiritu, which has duration of about forty nine minutes.

Abyssous

Another excellent release via Germany’s top-label Iron Bonehead in quite an impressing series that we did receive at our headquarters, is the extended vinyl-edition of 2012’s …Smouldering demo by Chemnitz, Saxony, Germany-based trio Abyssous.

Tragodia

This Italian band should not be an unknown entity in the Gothic Metal community, as the Brescia (North of Italy, West of the Lago di Garda – Garda Lake – roughly in the middle between Milano and Verona) based Epic/ Progressive band has been about since 1996!

Diesto

Diesto is a doom rock band from Portland, Oregon. With well more than a decade of experience, the band embarked on a mission to write and record music (like every musician). But I don’t believe they really made an impact in Europe, during al those years of touring and releasing records.

In The meanwhile, they have arrived at their fifth LP/CD: “For Water Or Blood”, witch turned out to be melancholic doom (witch reminds me a bit of Mastodon)

Superhorrorfuck

This North-Italian band was founded in 2005, when the 4 members of the act previously known as Morphina decided to gear their music in a different direction, namely a Glam/ Sleeze Rock/ metal with lyrical “horror” elements.

Saturday Overdose

The story of this Italian band from Acqui Terme (a small town situated some 70 km NW from Genova, in the North of the country, which has a history going back to the year 173 BC!) starts in the year 2007, when 4 school friends and hang-out buddies (singer Enrico Boschiazzo aka Bosko Dirty Hack, guitarist Andrea Servetti aka Serve The Weedz, bassist Andrea Panaro aka Pana Doctor Gonzo, and drummer Filippo Galli aka machinegun Kocks) start a band under the nam

Leaves' Eyes

Leaves' Eyes are one of these bands that have come a long way to be where they are now. In my opinion, this band still deserves a ton more respect, definitely after the release of their new release, entitled Symphonies Of The Night.
The album title is just perfect for the music it contains. All songs are bombastic, mysterious and the band shows some of the best variety every heard within the genre.

Truckfighters

Probably the best band in the world.

This must be some kind of joke, because the pure silliness of this biography is just too much. Truckfighters has the fuzz rock sound of just too many bands out there today with no real spark to set them apart. The new song “The chairman” is funk meets poppy stonerrock and has no kick and fails in his attempt to entertain. Add 3 uninspired live tracks to this CDEP and you can add this to the skip category.

The Dillinger Escape Plan

The Dillinger Escape Plan is a band which you love or hate, there's no in-between. The ones who love it are usually into the mathcore genre and the ones who hate it just think it's noise. No matter what side you're on, their records always raise voices and they always give us something to talk about, which is also the case with their brand new studio album.
