Aeon

As appetizer: check out the reviews (professionally and grimly) done for this splendid website in our archives section for Aeon’s former releases.

Audrey Horne

Fans of bands like Deep Purple, Thin Lizzy, Led Zeppelin, Van Halen, and others: Rejoice! Audrey Horne’s Youngblood is yet another fine example that hard rock is far from dead and gone.

Viza

At first I thought I was listening to a clone of System Of A Down, but I had to rethink my first opinion afterwards.  Viza is much more than a simple clone of aforementioned band.   While with System Of A Down I find it hard to listen to a complete album, this was not the case with Viza.

Cayne

Italy and metal has never really been a truthful combination. It's only Lacuna Coil that has always grasped me by the throat. And hey, what do I find here? Cayne, an Italian rock metal band with former members of Lacuna Coil. I was really waiting for this to happen, for real! I'm super curious what this will sound like. Cayne already formed in 1999, but for some reason I never really got to know of their existence. It's just only now that they say to have a solid line-up and sound.

Death

The x-th Death re-release through Relapse (see the archives-section for reviews done by undersigned concerning several other releases by this protagonist act, as well as some side-projects); this time 1990’s Spiritual Healing, which was another mile stone within Death’s history.

Between The Buried And Me

This successor of The Parallax: Hypersleep Dialogues, the sequel on North Caroline-based Between The Buried And Me’s 2011-EP, continues the concept of Prospect I and II, the main characters in a somewhat dualistic, schizophrenic story.

For those who are trusted with this band’s complex, kinetic Modern Metalcore: this album is a ‘highlight’ (read: another continuously next chapter) in this band’s career.

(I haven’t really been such a ‘fan’ in the past, and unfortunately it won’t be different right now)

Mammoth

Mammoth is a band hailing from Australia, and with this album they just released their third album on the world.  It’s the first album I ever lay my hands on though.

Pythia

Pythia is the name of a priestess from Delphi at the Temple of Apollo, also known as the Oracle of Delphi. She was known for her hallucinations, translated into revelations or prophecies, spoken in a weird tongue, said as it came from the Gods directly. Some historici think it was because of the use of certain drugs, others think she acted under the influence of certain gasses (Greece is a rather seismic region, as you know), or it might have been some sort of self-hypnotic or mental state of whatever.
