Demon Eye

Perhaps the best way to describe the sound of Demon Eye is to imagine early Pentagram if they were heavily Purple influenced. If you can imagine that sound, and if you think you'd like it, then this bunch of demons might be right up your alley. It's pure vintage doom rock with no frills, no edgy alternative angles and no apologies.

Cemetery Dance

Cemetety Dance are a band hailing from Athens, Greece, and the music they play is difficult to fit into a specific genre.  It’s a if they’ve mixed some late 80ies metal, with punk, but with a dose of trash, rockabilly, and even now and then a dose of death metal vocals thrown in as well.

Which makes it hard to write a review about.  I mean there are parts I like, songs I like, but there are other parts and songs I don’t like at all.  On top of that if you ask me the production isn’t that good, which in the end means that I don’t like the album as whole.

Tuxedo

Hah...now there's a novel thing: a band describing themselves as “Austrian Alpencore”. As to what that entails, I will tell you later...first we do the history bit, okay?

Hawkwind

Aahhh, Hawkwind...masters of Psychedelic Space Rock! You know, it's the first time I'm being asked to review an album by this great band revolving around guitarist Dave Brock? Due to our usual Spaced-out specialist temporarily being unavailable, you see, and although it means extra work in my to-do box, I'm not exactly complaining!
