Although this is the fifth release for this UK band, I’ve never heard something of them before.

The Victory Records diversity showcase: following reviews of the bands Close Your eyes and Neurotic November (who deal in Progressive Melodic Hardcore/ Pop Punk and MetalCore/ DeathCore respectively) we now come to part 3 of the showcase with a band best categorized (in a general way) under the Death Metal label [this Dallas, Texas based band is not to be confused with the (again active since 2011) American Heavy Metal act from Pennsylvania].
Kingdomes of Rust is a fairly good debut album where prog, symphonic, power and heavy metal and electronic ambient passages flow into each other, effortlessly it seems. The vocals could have been much better, especially the Italian accent is scary, Of the more prog metal tunes “Waxhopes” definitely sticks out, with some blowing guitarsolos and some great harmonic bass tapping. But in the end the 12 tracks stretch unimpressive musical ideas far too thin, and the instrumental sections never build into anything really exciting building a real kingdom of rust.
This is the 12th release for this Danish band, and DC Cooper is once again the vocalist, which is of course good news, since it’s with him that they released two very good albums in at the end of the nineties, which put this band more on the forefront.
The bandname Relentless is not quite new in the world of heavy music, seen as there's at least already 3 other bands with that name, 2 of which also coming from the US, from whence this fourth one comes.
Rage Of South is a Sicilian thrash/crossover/Nu/metal band witch saw light at the beginning of 2006. The band was formed by: Tano (vox/ guitar), Leo (guitar/chorus), Salas (drum), Smoke (bass/ chorus).
The Norwegian blackened trash metal sensation is back after 7 years of silence. It’s their fifth full length release in the form of ‘Napalm Nights’.
Every so occasionally, a kid's dream comes true, and this can certainly be said of little Sebastian “Baz” Tvedtnäs, whom dreamed of fronting a band performing his music in front of thousands of screaming fans. Not one to just dream away doin' nothing about it, he joined forces with one of his classmates whom had the same dreams, and together they founded NiteRain in 2006!
Like with the Baxter Stockman album, Mother Susurrus' Maahaava was already released on vinyl back in March 2013, and has now found its way onto CD. The difference is, colleague Cosmicmasseur already made a review on the vinyl release, which is a good read if you want to delve deeper into the musical aspect of this band. However, my colleague did forget the historical side of things, so why don't I bring you that, eh?
Masters of Disguise is named after the album SAVAGE GRACE (1985). Same cover concept a patrol cop, the infamous officer Knutson. Mabe a return… The band is formed in 2013 with members: Kalli Coldsmith (Guitar), Mario Lang (Bass), Neudi (Drums), Roger Dequis (Guitar) and Alexx Stahl (Vocals).
